Our Programs

This tournament is organized for U13 children in which the most outstanding players from each team is given a scholarship. The first edition took place in 2018 in South West Nigeria. Each of the South West States were represented by the best U13 team along with the children from the IDP camp in Borno, Northern Nigeria. The tournament was hosted in Lagos and it saw over 2000 children in attendance. All the children were given school bags and educational materials while the best player in the participating  teams received N150, 000 Grant's towards there education.

In 2019, the train moved to the North East with the successful hosting of the tournament in Gombe State. Each of the North East States was represented by their best U13 teams along two other teams - one from an academy in Jos and the other from an IDP camp in Borno State. The Government and the people of Gombe gave their full support to the event and it saw an attendance of over 5000 spectators. SACF provided a scholarship of N1.6million to 9 children , including children from the IDP camp, Borno. All the children who participated were given school bags,  educational materials, jerseys and footballs.

SACMT (Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Mini-Tournament) is an annual football event, one of a series of activities the Foundation uses in raising funds for its programmes. This event started in 2014 alongside the establishment of the foundation. It brings together friends, colleagues, associates and well wishers in a convivial atmosphere to enjoy the round leather game whilst raising funds for a good cause - the education and care of the indigent children in the society. The event takes place yearly on the 29th of December. The tournament features a variety of teams ranging from the professional/semi professional teams to adhoc teams made up of celebrities, media persons, members of creative industries and Nigeria's football legends.
